New York, New York. Oh, how I love that beautiful dirty city.
I went on an unexpected road trip to “the city that never sleeps” this past week, and I can truly say that it was much needed. I’m always stoked to go back to the state that I call home.
To document the trip, I brought along my good ol’ Canon DSLR that I affectionately call Wesley.
The worse part about the 20-plus hour car ride- aside from being cramped- is simply driving through Florida. It takes six very long hours just to get out of the “Sunshine & Shenanigans” state.
Welcome to Georgia… finally.
Cook-Out in North Carolina
No road trip is complete without junk food that you’ll soon regret. Whenever we pass through North Carolina it is absolutely mandatory to stop at Cook-Out. It’s a restaurant chain that serves burgers, hot dogs, and BBQ. They also have a long list of milkshakes. Their chocolate shakes are so good they should be illegal… but thank God they aren’t.
Delaware Memorial Bridge
After much hauling on the road we could eventually see the New York skyline in the distance. As expected, we had to get through the highly congested city traffic first.
At last, Harlem, USA.
This, of course, was only the beginning. Stay tuned for many more pictures!
