This is the face of boredom. There’s also a hint of sleep deprivation, but ultimately boredom.
Don’t worry, I didn’t run off to my neighbor tattoo shop. Instead, I did a little somethin’, somethin’ as a remedy for my I’m-craving-something-new-itis that I mentioned in the previous post.

That’s right, I brought back the ‘purp! I’ve been rockin’ my mini twists for a little over a week now, and I thought they could use a dash of color.
My ‘do has been holding up rather well, I believe. Some of them have gotten fuzzy, but simply retwisting them fixed that. Once they hit the two-week mark I’ll take them out, give my hair some TLC, and then put the twists back in.
Wearing my hair in twists has made my bedtime hair routine so much easier. I just moisturize them (especially my ends) and hit the bed. When I don’t braid them for a crinkly/curly look, I make sure I’m sleeping on my satin pillow case.
Once the summer time comes around, I think twists are going to be my main hair-do. They’re off my neck, and that will come in handy once the Florida humidity comes around.
Eh… I’m shuddering at the thought.
